Membership

Have you always wanted to be a part of a community within the hemp industry? And not just any community—a community that inspires, encourages growth and promotes diversity within the hemp industry?

Welcome to the Michigan Hemp Farmer Association.

This association is a grassroots organization that informs, educates and trains members on the ins and outs of the small craft hemp farm business.

In addition to training our members, we are also dedicated to promoting diversity within the hemp industry. We do this by encouraging minorities to break into the business, and providing resources for women and people of color. To read more about our inclusivity efforts, please visit our diversity page.

Beyond educating our members and encouraging diversity, the association also works to shape hemp laws for the benefit of the small hemp farmer, not the large corporate farms. We do this on the regional, state and federal level.

How to Become a Member

The Michigan Hemp Farmer Association is specifically geared toward small craft hemp farmers with 5 acres or less of hemp, but we welcome everyone interested in the craft hemp business.

To become a member, all you need to do is pay $50 to the association. That’s it!

In addition to the events you can attend, you’re immersed in a community of like-minded individuals. Not only will you meet folks with similar businesses, you’ll also be introduced to industry experts who can help guide you through your hemp farming journey.

In an era where the hemp crop is still stigmatized, having a supportive group in your corner is an invaluable asset.
